Compensation:
This position is hourly, with the anticipated base pay range for this role between $20 and $24 per hour.

Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate (part time, approximately 20+ hours per week, 1st shift, Monday to Friday), you will be responsible for delivering exemplary solutions and connecting effortlessly with walk-in customers through guidance, expertise, and a positive demeanor. Your role will involve maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and consistently exceeding customer expectations. Throughout the day, you will transition from customer assistance to various warehouse tasks. You will report directly to the Store Manager.

You Will:
– Oversee the complete customer experience, encompassing product selection, accurate order entry, safe product handling, and loading for customer vehicles.
– Seek ways to enhance sales opportunities and promote customer loyalty.
– Tailor communication styles to diverse audiences in person, via email, or over the phone.
– Accurately pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders for shipping.
– Manage customer backorders and assist with receiving stock.
– Contribute to merchandising efforts and facilitate showroom replenishment.
– Conduct inventory counts.
– Navigate various computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse functions.
– Maintain cleanliness to ensure the branch meets Grainger’s standards.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with all operational processes, including the use of personal protective equipment.

You Have:
– Flexibility to work within the branch’s operational hours.
– The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
– Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
