Compensation:
This position is hourly with an anticipated base pay range of $20 to $24 per hour.

Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate (part-time, approximately 20+ hours per week, 1st shift, Monday to Friday), you will engage with walk-in customers, utilizing your guidance, knowledge, and positive attitude to provide effective solutions. You will maximize sales opportunities, foster customer loyalty, and aim to exceed customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include shifting focus between customer service and various warehouse tasks, reporting directly to the Store Manager.

You Will:
– Oversee the complete customer experience, including appropriate product selection, accurate order entry, safe product picking, and loading customer vehicles.
– Identify opportunities to maximize sales and foster customer loyalty.
– Tailor your communication style to suit different audiences, whether in email, by phone, or in person.
– Prepare and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
– Process customer backorders and restock received inventory.
– Assist with merchandising and perform showroom replenishment.
– Conduct inventory counts.
– Navigate various computer systems related to customer service and warehouse operations.
– Maintain the branch’s appearance to meet Grainger’s standards through housekeeping tasks.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with all process standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.

You Have:
– Availability to work flexibly within branch operating hours.
– Capability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
– Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
