Compensation:
This position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $20 to $24 per hour.

Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate (part-time, approximately 20+ hours per week, 1st shift, Monday to Friday), you will engage with walk-in customers by leveraging guidance, knowledge, and a positive attitude to provide effective solutions. You will aim to maximize sales opportunities, foster customer loyalty, and exceed customer expectations. Throughout the day, you will alternate between assisting customers and performing various warehouse tasks, reporting directly to the Store Manager.

You Will:
– Manage the complete customer experience, encompassing product selection, accurate order entry, safe picking, and loading of products into customer vehicles.
– Proactively identify and capitalize on sales opportunities while promoting customer loyalty.
– Adapt your communication style to effectively engage with diverse audiences via email, over the phone, or in person.
– Efficiently pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders, as well as manage shipping products.
– Prepare customer backorders and organize received stock accordingly.
– Assist with merchandising and maintain showroom inventory levels.
– Conduct inventory counts as required.
– Navigate various computer systems adeptly for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
– Undertake housekeeping responsibilities to ensure that the branch’s appearance aligns with Grainger’s standards.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with all process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.

You Have:
– Flexibility to work during all operational hours of the branch.
– Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, with the capacity to handle heavier loads with assistance.
– Aptitude for learning and operating powered industrial equipment.
