Delaware North Parks and Resorts invites applications for the position of part-time Cook 3 at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. In this role, you will demonstrate your culinary expertise while serving as a visible leader in the kitchen. Collaborating with the management team, you will be responsible for menu planning, food presentation, quality assurance, staff training, kitchen equipment operation, adherence to health codes and sanitation regulations, and monitoring of inventory, labor, and overhead costs. ### Responsibilities:
– Review menus and customer orders to ascertain food preparation needs while ensuring compliance with portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, coolers, and kitchen equipment, upholding high standards of sanitation throughout the kitchen and storage areas.
– Adhere to waste control guidelines and accurately record food waste.
– Execute opening and closing duties, including end-of-day inventory, in accordance with established protocols.
### Qualifications:
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in a back-of-the-house food service role.
