Job Summary
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, quantity, and timely production of daily meals. This role involves preparing food in accordance with Parkhurst recipes, standards, and procedures, while adhering strictly to sanitary conditions.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and uphold the batch cooking method.
  • Maintain the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
  • Ensure proper line presentation by using the appropriate pans, garnishes, utensils, and maintaining correct serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
  • Foster open communication with associates, particularly line servers, regarding specific information about food items on a daily basis.
  • Complete daily production sheets accurately.
  • Properly store and date all food items.
  • Adhere to all HACCP guidelines while managing leftovers.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule provided by management, employing “clean as you go” techniques.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding necessary products and supplies.
  • Comply with the uniform dress code and uphold personal hygiene standards.
  • Follow all Parkhurst Gold Standards, employing Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  • Provide assistance to fellow team members whenever possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
