RUSTY BUCKET RESTAURANT AND TAVERN is currently seeking a skilled LINE COOK to become an integral part of our team.

Who are we? We are a vibrant and welcoming Neighborhood Tavern dedicated to providing an enjoyable dining experience.

What is your role? You will play a key part in creating “Raving Fans” among our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities we serve.

Summary: At RUSTY BUCKET RESTAURANT AND TAVERN, we prioritize our Associates, fostering a workplace filled with positivity, creativity, and collaboration. As a Line Cook, your primary responsibilities will include preparing an array of hot and cold food items, such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. You will expertly portion, wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pastas, and other ingredients for entrees, salads, and garnishes. Additionally, you will carve and slice meats and cheeses, and measure and blend ingredients to create various dressings, sauces, and food items while adhering to established recipes.

Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Reporting to work punctually as per the schedule, maintaining a clean and compliant uniform, and practicing excellent personal hygiene
– Preparing all food items in accordance with company specifications, recipes, procedures, and quality standards to ensure our guests enjoy a superior dining experience
– Adhering to proper food safety techniques in handling and preparation, including personal hygiene, hand washing, and knife skills
– Being familiar with the restaurant’s emergency procedures
– Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in your work area, including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving
– Completing all tasks while following safety guidelines and promptly reporting any unsafe conditions, acts, accidents, or injuries
