JOB SUMMARY
The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring the quality, quantity, and timeliness of daily meal production. The incumbent will prepare food in accordance with Parkhurst’s recipes, standards, and procedures while adhering to strict sanitary conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and implement the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of food produced and maintain both the quality and quantity throughout the service period by utilizing production sheets.
• Oversee proper line presentation, ensuring that appropriate pans and utensils are used as per recipe specifications, with all food products held at the proper serving temperatures.
• Maintain open communication with fellow associates, including line servers, to convey specific information regarding food items daily.
• Complete daily production sheets accurately.
• Ensure all food items are properly stored and dated.
• Adhere to all HACCP guidelines for the utilization of leftovers.
• Follow the cleaning schedule provided by management, employing “clean as you go” techniques.
• Maintain communication with management regarding product and supply needs.
• Adhere to the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
• Follow all Parkhurst Gold Standards and implement Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
• Support team members whenever possible.
• Execute any additional duties as assigned by management.
