Responsibilities
As a caregiver at TheKey, you will provide personalized, one-on-one care to clients living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and other cognitive impairments within the comfort of their homes:

  • Cognitive & Behavioral Support: Offer gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to alleviate confusion and anxiety
  • Personal Care: Assist with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with dignity and patience
  • Home Safety & Housekeeping: Help maintain a calm and organized environment through basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
  • Transportation: Safely drive clients to appointments, run errands, and assist with grocery shopping
  • Companionship: Engage clients through conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities tailored to their cognitive needs

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience
  • At least 18 years of age
  • A valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured personal vehicle
