You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of the office, guest rooms, public restrooms, and various common areas, ensuring that every guest experiences a pristine environment. Position Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for upholding the cleanliness and appearance of the office, public restrooms, pool areas, and other common areas. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. This role also entails monitoring cleaning supply inventory, reporting maintenance issues to the Property Manager, and fostering a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean the resort office, public restrooms, and pool areas, focusing on mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of showers and laundry areas twice daily (at the beginning and end of the work shift).
  • Conduct light cleaning of up to nine rental cabins daily (excluding beds and bathrooms).
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas to meet our high standards.
  • Track the inventory of cleaning supplies and request refills when necessary.
  • Report any maintenance concerns in common areas to the Property Manager for timely repairs.
  • Collaborate closely with management to ensure open communication.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Demonstrated motivation and commitment to exceptional customer service and quality work.
  • Ability to maintain high standards and prioritize safety.
  • Proven capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of the property.
