In this position, you will be responsible for upholding the cleanliness of the office, guest rooms, public restrooms, and various common areas, creating a spotless environment for every visitor. The Housekeeper plays a pivotal role in maintaining the pristine appearance of the property’s office, public restrooms, pool areas, and communal spaces. Key responsibilities include mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and managing trash removal. Additionally, you will monitor cleaning supply inventory, report maintenance issues to the Property Manager, and strive to create a welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean the resort office, public restrooms, and pool areas, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
  • Perform a thorough cleaning of showers and laundry areas twice daily (at the beginning and end of your shift).
  • Conduct light cleaning of up to nine rental cabins each day (excluding beds and bathrooms).
  • Maintain common areas according to established cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor cleaning supply inventory and request replenishments as necessary.
  • Communicate any maintenance concerns in common areas to the Property Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with management to ensure open communication.
  • Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A strong motivation to deliver exceptional customer service and perform tasks thoroughly.
  • Ability to adhere to high cleanliness standards while working safely.
  • Proven track record of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of the property.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position may include the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically. Candidates should be capable of navigating the property for extended periods, working in various environmental conditions both indoors and outdoors, and safely lifting, pulling, and pushing items weighing up to 10 pounds.
