Job description:

Coreworks is seeking to fill a part-time Housekeeper position immediately.

  • Location: Adena Pike Medical Center, 100 Dawn Lane, Waverly, OH 45690. Online applications are accepted only.
  • Schedule: Part-time hours are available Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, including every other weekend. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
  • Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience is essential.
  • Compensation: The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for performing light cleaning duties to ensure establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Key responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality customer service through attentive, one-on-one interactions.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Make beds and change linens as necessary.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to the designated layout.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests.
  • Address housekeeping challenges, such as spills or broken items.
  • Contribute positively to team efforts and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
