As a Line Cook, you will oversee kitchen operations during your shift, ensuring that all tasks are executed with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Prepare a diverse range of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items.
- Assume complete responsibility for the quality of prepared products.
- Maintain efficiency in portion control, cooking techniques, and adherence to quality and kitchen standards.
- Manage inventory and product stocking, placing a strong emphasis on waste control.
- Uphold a clean and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Demonstrate exemplary time management skills.
- Adhere to all food safety standards and protocols.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage the restaurant’s needs.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and service.
- A positive, welcoming, and energetic attitude.
- Effective communication skills to inspire and ensure consistent excellence.
- A strong commitment to a professional and ethical approach to guest services.
Reports To: Executive Kitchen Manager
Pay: Hourly plus Tips
Hours: Available in both Part Time and Full Time capacities
