Job Position Description:

This role entails a commitment of two days per week, for a total of 4 hours each day (Tuesdays and Fridays), with a pay rate of $15 per hour from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The primary responsibility is to uphold a clean and healthy office environment for our clients by adhering to a designated task list. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing comprehensive cleaning duties across facilities, utilizing ServiceMaster’s products, tools, and established procedures.
  • Performing cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal, interior window cleaning, dusting, bathroom sanitation, stair maintenance, and surface sanitization.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of supplies and equipment, and reporting shortages as necessary.
  • Adhering to safety protocols by utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Responsible for securing and unlocking the facility/suite.
  • While 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We provide on-the-job training for candidates who exhibit a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a professional janitorial setting, such as an office complex, hotel, hospital, or school, is beneficial.
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment are essential.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere by maintaining a pleasant demeanor and supporting overall team efforts, including adherence to uniform standards and punctuality.
  • Respect and consideration for both coworkers and clients are paramount.
  • Proficiency in English is required, or candidates must be able to use a translation tool.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

  • The position requires constant involvement in activities such as standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching (both overhead and forward). Candidates must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
